Looking For More Deer Blind Plans

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

I hope to have a forum up soon so anyone can simply post their deer blind plans there. Until I get a forum up though, if anyone has any deer blind plans that they would like to share, you can simply leave a comment on one of the posts on this blog, or e-mail me at ericihli at gmail.com.

Many thanks to those of you who have already shared some plans.

Please make sure you have permission from the owner of the plans to post them here. I wouldn’t want anyone to get in trouble for copyright infringement or anything.

As well as deer blind plans, I’m also looking for some deer feeder plans and any other deer related building plans.

New Set Of Deer Blind Plans – 4×4 Box Blind Plans

Sunday, January 18th, 2009

We just released a new set of deer blind plans. You can check them out over at the Deer Stand Plans homepage.

We have 9 of these stands over at our deer lease in Texas and they are great. It only takes about 15 minutes to build the deer blind once you get all the panels assembled. Everything fits neatly in the bed of a pickup for easy transport.

We are constantly updating the plans and you’ll get free updates for life as well as a satisfaction guarantee.

If you have been looking for a good set of deer blind plans or if you need a deer blind and haven’t yet considered building your own, check out these deer stand plans. It costs less than $140 in supplies and the entire construction time is less than 3 hours.

Advice When Building An Elevated Box Blind Deer Stand

One bit of advice…if you’re going to build a deer blind and elevate any more than 4 feet, get a ground auger tie down kit. These things are really top-heavy and with a strong gust of wind, they will go over. You could use wire to and tie it down on each corner to some trees or something nearby, but I think a ground auger would reduce floor squeaking.
